Local county star James Breen took time out of his busy schedule to talk to the children in SHNS about the benefits of being active, developing new skills and being part of a team. There were lots of questions followed by lots of excitement in the school’s first ever Cross Bar challenge…………..
Our Active schools week will take place on the week of Monday 30th April this year. If it’s anything like last year, the children are in for a real treat. Check out some of last years antics below 🙂
2nd, 3rd and 4th Class had a great session with Wexford Hurling Development Officer Shane O’Hanlon just before our Easter Break. Thanks to Shane and all the volunteer coaches and teachers who continue to start their days early in order to help the children develop their hurling and camogie skills.
